(April 15, 2010) Prescott, Arizona-The Prescott Farmers Market (PFM) will begin its 14^th season on Saturday, May 15 in the main parking lot at Yavapai College. This year’s market will include farm-fresh, locally grown produce, meat and dairy, honey, baked goods, tamales and BBQ, agricultural crafts, body care products, gourmet foods, starter plants, advice from local growers, chef demos and samples, live music, special events, and much more! The market will occur Saturday mornings through October 30.

The PFM will also operate markets in Prescott Valley and Chino Valley. The Prescott Valley Farmers Market will run Tuesday afternoons June 1 through September 28 in the Entertainment District, and the Chino Valley Farmers Market will run Thursday afternoons June 3 through September 30 in downtown Chino Valley.

The PFM is currently accepting local vendors, artists, volunteers, musicians and chefs who would like to sell, perform, or otherwise support any of the tri-city markets. Please apply at www.prescottfarmersmarket.org. 

The Prescott Farmers Market is an agricultural cooperative of Yavapai County agricultural producers. The markets are “growers only” and permit no re-selling.
