Philosphy
I’m committed to incorporating as many environmentally sustainable practices into my business as I can. I use only non-chlorine bleached paper products (& very minimally at that); I compost all my kitchen scraps such as the egg shells from my baking; I use only biodegradable cleaners; I’ll be incorporating solar power into the kitchen I’m designing to be opened FALL 2011; and you’ll find Arizona grown ingredients in all my baked goods from local eggs to fresh apples, pecans, and pumpkin. I use organic ingredients where available and never any artificial flavors, colors or preservatives.
All the prepackaged ingredients I use in my baking are sourced from certified gluten free facilities to ensure your health & safety.
I’m happy to work with you to adapt any recipe to suit your particular dietary needs.
Since going gluten free 3 years ago I’ve strived to create and bake the comfort foods I was missing…chocolate chip cookies, fudgey brownies, banana bread, sandwich bread with the taste and texture of “real” bread, pizza crusts...and more.
I love a good challenge so when someone asks me, “Can you make….XYZ?” I say, “Sure! Why not!?!” Scones, doughnuts, oreos, lemons bars…The sky’s the limit. There’s no reason we can’t have anything we want, gluten free!
