Philosphy
Rod and Tanya believe whole heartedly in sustainable ranching and farming practices. All of their products are raised and made as sustainably and naturally as possible by using solar power for everything on the ranch, from their own home to the electric fencing used to contain their livestock. The majority of water used for livestock and vegetables on the ranch is rain/snow harvested water from the 28,000 gallon harvesting system that Rod and Tanya have built.
Rod & Tanya are first generation agriculturalists who were both raised in the Prescott & Dewey areas of Arizona. It has always been their dream to own and operate a working ranch/farm, which has come true with a lot of hard work and perseverance over the past 7 years.
Settler Valley Ranch is comprised of approximately 4,000 acres, located in Dewey. The ranch is a green ranch totally off grid & solar operated, proudly raising & providing all natural products for their family and yours!
