The mission of the Alumni Outreach Project is to build the participation of alumni by involving them in Yavapai College activities and educating them about the needs of the College. Additionally, it will:

- build support and awareness for the college in communities throughout Yavapai County
- allow Yavapai College and the Yavapai College Foundation to strengthen its donor database and cultivate donors for larger "special" gifts
- create a pool of potential leaders and volunteers
- educate alumni/friends on the importance of annual giving to support presidential priorities
